LG's ODD Plant in India Starts Production

LG Electronics announced on June 9 that it has started production at its new ODD (Optical Disk Drive) production line in Pune, India. Total investment in the plant until 2010 is expected to amount to three billion Rs, while the facility is forecasted to initially produce 600,000 units per month. Production will be mainly aimed at European markets.
